Anomatic Celebrates the Science of Anodized Aluminum at COSI Celebration

On May 4th, more than 20 Anomatic employees volunteered their time and expertise to share the science of anodized aluminum to nearly 20,000 attendees at the inaugural COSI Big Science Celebration on the Scioto Peninsula in downtown Columbus. The Celebration was the culmination of a four-day Big Science Festival where COSI partnered with businesses, universities, organizations, and STEM leaders to host more than 100 community events across Central Ohio.

Anomatic's team manned a booth at the high-spirited, family-friendly event. The booth used hands-on activities to showcase the unique properties of anodized aluminum including its durability and conductivity. Guests were able to see and touch hundreds of samples and ask questions about the science behind these products including: just how does Anomatic make anodized aluminum in so many different colors?

For all the volunteers, as well as those who assisted in planning, a big thank you for your selfless hard work and sharing your knowledge with our community. Below are photos from the event.
