Anomatic was founded in 1965 by William C. Rusch, an industrial chemical salesman who had an idea about a continuous motion machine for anodizing aluminum. Since then, our company has patented multiple manufacturing technologies and grown to a full-service global supplier of anodized aluminum components and product packaging. Today, we offer the highest capacity for color anodizing in the world.

Today

Technologies include full package design, prototyping, metal tooling (built in-house), metal stamping, anodizing, assembly, embossing, debossing, hot foil stamping, double anodizing, screen printing, laser engraving, metallization and flexographic offset printing.

Global locations include 5 offices and 4 plants (3 U.S., 1 China) with a total capacity of 2.5 billion parts per year.

2015

Expanded New Albany facility by more than doubling in size with an additional 85,000 square feet of manufacturing space for current and new technologies. Hot Foil Stamping machines and additional assembly capacity added.

2015

Class 100,000 Clean Room manufacturing space was added for new technologies (metallization, flexographic offset printing) and an additional 33,000 square feet of assembly operations space was added.

2015

New technologies including Hot Foil Stamping, Flexographic Offset Printing, and Metallization now production-ready.

2014

Added two new anodizing lines to Beauty Park facility and expanded capacity by 250 million units.

2013

Built Good Manufacturing Practices room in ISO 14001-certified Anomatic Suzhou, China facility.

2012

Established Innovation and Design Center for rapid prototyping.

2012

Became Beauty Park partner-supplier with new operational LEED (Leadership in Energy Environmental Design) certified facility in New Albany, Ohio. Achieved vertical integration to serve customers' end-to-end packaging needs.

2010

Comprehensive tool and die shop extended capacity to 27 metal stamping presses in the Naugatuck, Connecticut Tooling Center of Excellence while enabling design and build of tooling onsite.

2007

Opened Suzhou, China facility, a carbon copy of Anomatic's U.S. ISO-certified facilities.

1990

Expanded and relocated to Newark, Ohio to accommodate a capacity of 1 billion parts.

Partnered with Maglite, Gillette, innovating double anodizing.

1974

Increased capacity and moved headquarters to Westerville, Ohio.

Became a trusted partner-supplier in beauty, cosmetics and personal care.

1965

Founded in in Chicago, Illinois.

1967

Patented the "Anomatic System", a high-volume highly consistent anodizing process.

Government contractor of ammunition shells throughout the 60s.
