Project Scope
Anomatic Corporation used high purity aluminum and bright anodizing to give aluminum lock hardware a bright finish for a major U.S. consumer products company. Challenge
The customer wanted a cost effective bright anodizing finish that simulated brass for their entry level line of door handles and locks. Anomatic had to come up with the right combination of alloy, rolling method, fabrication method and anodizing process to replace buffed brass. Solution
Anomatic used a quality fabrication supplier to source components. Using its unique conveyorized anodizing system, Anomatic finished the high purity aluminum parts in the brightest possible gold finish. This approach provided superior quality and reliability and significant cost savings for the customer. Anomatic successfully produced 100's of millions of units for almost 10 years.
