Anomatic set to start operations in new LEED certified facility

Anomatic is pleased to announce the opening of their fourth facility, which will feature two brand new anodizing systems and be home to the company’s Innovation and Technical Design Center. This latest expansion located in New Albany, Ohio, just 15 miles from the company’s headquarters in Newark, Ohio, will create an additional 250 million units of anodizing capacity and 150 new jobs. The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified building will begin operations on Monday, February 13th.

Anomatic’s proprietary anodizing systems, long known for their high volume output and industry leading quality and color consistency, were designed and built at the corporate HQ in Newark in less than six months in response to customer demand. The new lines remain true to the original Anomatic system patented in 1967, but feature new technologies designed to reduce energy dependence, potable water usage through enhanced rinse technologies and a new water purification system to recapture and reuse. The additional capacity will allow the company to offer industry leading lead times and increase speed to market.
