Sets Standards In China Facility
With
the grand opening of Anomatic Suzhou and all the
concerns regarding consumer products being produced
in Asia, Anomatic felt it was best to open its
doors and discuss its plans to be a global, socially
responsible citizen. Anomatic has instituted an
aggressive environmental policy and has put systems
in place to safeguard the environment utilizing
the best available technology in the U.S. and
China.
“China’s environmental standards are
very tough and any metal finisher in China without
these safeguards in place will not survive the
long-term as enforcement efforts are strengthening,”
said Peter J. McCallin, Anomatic’s Vice
President of Engineering. All waste treatment
systems, including: air, water and waste, meet
or exceed U.S. and China standards.
In addition, the local government has built a
brand new waste water treatment facility to further
ensure that the water discharged is clean. Anomatic
currently recycles more than 80% of materials
used in-house, while the rest is sent off-site
to local recyclers. Taking advantage of these
“Green Opportunities” is not only
good for the environment, community and all Anomatic
Associates, it is good for business.

cap for Hollister Co's personal care line,
Sessions. The line features a cap which
showcases a newly introduced and revolutionary
